Machina is improving its existing rail yard by building over 1,000 feet of new railway track for the safe transportation of goods directly into the facility’s main bay.

Machina and its group of companies require rail yard improvement and expansion to accommodate their growing demand for rail transportation of products and services across Canada and the US.
A leading rail logistics provider in Ontario, that specializes in design and build services for industrial and commercial rail yards has been sourced.

The scope of this project is to improve the existing rail yard by expanding its rail track by building ~1,050 total new track feet and one (1) tie set for a No.8 turnout. The new tracks will connect the facility’s main bay to the existing CN Rail infrastructure and will follow the CN Industrial Standards for track design and construction.

Project activities are estimated at 8-12 weeks for from drawings approval to construction completion.
